Esempio
Nell'esempio di codice seguente viene illustrato come gestire l'evento Inserting per eseguire qualsiasi procedura di pre-elaborazione, ad esempio l'aggiunta di un parametro all'oggetto DbCommand contenuto dall'oggetto SqlDataSourceCommandEventArgs per acquisire il valore di un parametro di output, prima che venga eseguita un'azione di database. In questo esempio viene eseguito un inserimento da un DetailsView controllo in uno scenario di dettaglio master classico, usando una stored procedure. Il valore del parametro di output, che rappresenta la chiave primaria della riga appena inserita, viene esaminata quando l'evento viene generato dopo il Inserted completamento dell'operazione.

Commenti
Quando si crea un delegato SqlDataSourceCommandEventHandler, si identifica il metodo che gestirà l'evento. Per associare l'evento al gestore eventi in uso, aggiungere all'evento un'istanza del delegato. Il gestore eventi viene chiamato ogni volta che si verifica l'evento, a meno che non venga rimosso il delegato.
