Procedura: Associare a un servizio Web utilizzando il BindingSource di Windows Forms

Se si desidera associare un controllo Windows Form ai risultati ottenuti dalla chiamata di un servizio Web XML, è possibile utilizzare un componente BindingSource. Questa procedura è simile all'associazione di un componente BindingSource a un tipo. È necessario creare un proxy lato client contenente i metodi e i tipi esposti dal servizio Web. È possibile generare un proxy client dal servizio Web (.asmx) stesso o dal suo file WSDL (Web Services Description Language). Inoltre, il proxy lato client deve esporre come proprietà pubbliche i campi di tipi complessi utilizzati dal servizio Web. Il BindingSource viene quindi associato a uno dei tipi esposti nel proxy del servizio Web.

Per creare e collegare a un proxy lato client

  1. Creare un Windows Form nella directory di tua scelta, con uno spazio dei nomi appropriato.

  2. Aggiungere un componente BindingSource al modulo.

  3. Aprire il prompt dei comandi di Windows Software Development Kit (SDK) e passare alla stessa directory in cui si trova il modulo.

  4. Usando lo strumento WSDL, immettere wsdl e l'URL per il file con estensione asmx o WSDL per il servizio Web, seguito dallo spazio dei nomi dell'applicazione e, facoltativamente, dal linguaggio che si sta utilizzando.

    Nell'esempio di codice seguente viene usato il servizio Web disponibile in http://webservices.eraserver.net/zipcoderesolver/zipcoderesolver.asmx. Ad esempio, per il tipo C# wsdl http://webservices.eraserver.net.zipcoderesolver/zipcoderesolver.asmx /n:BindToWebServiceo per il tipo Visual Basic wsdl http://webservices.eraserver.net.zipcoderesolver/zipcoderesolver.asmx /n:BindToWebService /language:VB. Il passaggio del percorso come argomento allo strumento WSDL genererà un proxy client nella stessa directory e nello spazio dei nomi della tua applicazione, nella lingua specificata. Se si usa Visual Studio, aggiungere il file al progetto.

  5. Selezionare un tipo nel proxy sul lato client per l'associazione.

    Si tratta in genere di un tipo restituito da un metodo offerto dal servizio Web. I campi del tipo scelto devono essere esposti come proprietà pubbliche a scopo di associazione.
