IIS 7 contiene una funzionalità di buffering delle risposte attivata per impostazione predefinita, ma è possibile disabilitarla usando il DisableBuffering metodo . Con il buffering abilitato, IIS compila l'intera risposta in memoria prima di restituire dati a un client Web. In questo modo si aumentano le prestazioni di rete, ma possono verificarsi situazioni in cui si vuole disabilitare il buffering. Ad esempio, se si scrive un'applicazione che richiede un lungo periodo di tempo per il completamento, un client Web dovrà attendere fino a quando la risposta non è stata completamente compilata e restituita da IIS prima che il client visualizzi tutti i dati. Con il buffering disabilitato, il client Web visualizzerà i dati in modo incrementale man mano che vengono restituiti da IIS.

Nota

Il DisableBuffering metodo non disabilita il buffering per il metodo CHttpModule::OnSendResponse .

Il modulo deve esportare la funzione RegisterModule . È possibile esportare questa funzione creando un file di definizione del modulo (con estensione def) per il progetto oppure è possibile compilare il modulo usando l'opzione /EXPORT:RegisterModule . È possibile compilare il codice usando la __stdcall (/Gz) convenzione di chiamata anziché dichiarare in modo esplicito la convenzione di chiamata per ogni funzione.
