How to: View Client to Server Calls

In Microsoft Dynamics AX, you can monitor client to server calls to identify problems or increase application performance. This topic describes how to trace client to server calls.

Note

Only select statements that are not in the client cache are shown. Select statements executed on the client are displayed as server calls, for example, CustTable.select.

To enable tracing of client to server calls

  1. Click Tools > Options.

  2. Click the Development tab, and then select Client/server trace.
