Suggest Sales Price on Wksh. Batch Job

Creates suggestions for changing the agreed item unit prices in the Sales Price table on the basis of the existing prices in the table. When the batch job has been completed, you can see the result in the Sales Price Worksheet window. You can also use the Suggest Item Price on Wksh. batch job to create suggestions for new prices.

There are two ways of using this batch job: You can either simply update the sales prices with an adjustment factor, or you can copy a sales price agreement to another customer or customer price group.

This batch job only creates suggestions and it does not implement the suggested changes. If you are satisfied with the suggestions and want to implement them, that is insert them in the Sales Price table, you can use the Implement Price Change batch job. You can find this batch job by clicking the Actions menu and pointing to Functions in the Sales Price Worksheet window.

Note

If you only want to update the price agreements based on the Adjustment Factor, do not fill in the Sales Prices FastTab.

Options

You use the Options FastTab to determine who the sales prices should be applied to and on what conditions.

Sales Type: Here you can enter the sales type that the sales price agreement should be copied to. To see the existing sales types, click the field.

Sales Code: Enter the code for the sales type that the sales prices will be copied to. To see the existing sales codes, click the field.

Unit of Measure: Here you can specify the unit of measure code that will be used to determine the new prices. To see the existing unit of measure codes, click the field.

Currency Code: Here you can specify the currencies that will be used for the new prices. To see the existing currency codes, click the field.

Starting Date: Enter the date when the price changes will take effect.

Ending Date: Enter the date to which the price changes are valid.

Only Prices Above: Here you can enter the lowest unit price that will be changed. Only prices that are higher than this will be changed. If a price is lower than or equal to this amount, a line for it will be created in the Sales Price Worksheet window, but with the same unit price as in the Sales Price table.

Adjustment Factor: Enter the factor that the prices in the sales price agreement will be multiplied by (for example, 1.2).

Rounding Method: Enter a code for the rounding method that will be used to determine the new prices. To see the existing rounding method codes, click the field.

Create New Prices: Place a check mark in the check box if you want the batch job to create new price suggestions (for example, a new combination of currency, sales code and time). Don't insert a check mark if you only want to adjust existing sales prices.
