Describes the type of validation that caused a failure.

Values

Name

Description

userFormulaField

The value failed validation by a field validation formula created by a list author.

userFormulaItem

The value failed validation by an item validation formula created by a list author.

requiredField

No value was provided for a required field.

choiceField

The value is not one of the available choices for the field.

minMaxField

The value is not within the bounds specified by the SP.FieldNumber.minimumValue Property and SP.FieldNumber.maximumValue Property properties of the field.
