Returns a String instance representing the internal field name of the field used as the lookup values.
Exceptions
Exception | Condition |

[Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException] | The server does not allow properties of the field to be changed. Error code: -2146232832. |
[System.NotSupportedException] | When the property is read and the list that this field belongs to is an external list. Error code: -1. |
Remarks
The target of the LookupField property must be one of the following field types:
FieldType.Counter
FieldType.DateTime
FieldType.Number
FieldType.Text
In addition, FieldType.Computed is allowed as a target if lookups are enabled. For more information, see the EnableLookup property of the FieldComputed class. The FieldType.Calculated field type can be a target if the output is text. For more information, see the OutputType property of the FieldCalculated class.
