GetUserName Method

The GetUserName method returns the database user used by the referenced login, when a connection using that login accesses the specified database.

[!NOTA] SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference using SysFreeString.

A string that identifies a database user.
Osservazioni
The GetUserName method returns an empty string when the login specified does not have access to the database.
