Files Property

The Files property specifies one or more operating system files used as a database backup target or restore source.

[!NOTA] SQL-DMO strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference using SysFreeString.
Osservazioni
The backup medium for a backup or restore operation is specified using either the Devices, Files, Pipes, or Tapes properties. Only one medium type can be specified for any backup or restore operation, but multiple media (of the same type) may be specified.
Set the Files property to specify one or more operating system files as the backup medium. Specify more than a single operation system file to stripe the backup operation or to restore from a striped backup set.
