ManagementGroup.GetMonitoringEventReader Method (MonitoringEventCriteria, MonitoringClass, TraversalDepth)

Retrieves a reader for the monitoring events of the specified class instances that match the specified filter, with the option to include instances of derived classes.

Parameters

• criteria
  Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Monitoring.MonitoringEventCriteria

  A value that specifies the kind of monitoring events.

• monitoringClass
  Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Configuration.MonitoringClass

  The monitoring base class, with all its derived classes, that defines the range of the returned results.

• traversalDepth
  Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common.TraversalDepth

  A value limits of the that modifies the monitoringClassparameter. A value of OneLevelA value of includes only instances of the specified class in the scope of the returned results.Recursiveincludes instances of the specified class and all instances that are contained by those instances.
