xa_end

Called by the XA-based transaction manager or any XA application that performs operations on a SQL Server database by using the XA interfaces, to set the state of the specified XA transaction to suspended and end work performed on behalf of a transaction branch.

Parameters

xid
[in] Specifies the XA Transaction Branch Identifier.

rmid
[in] Resource Manager ID.

flags
[in] Flags defined in [XAOpen – DTP] Chapter 4.4.

Return Values

Return code defined in Chapter 4.5 of [XAOpen – DTP].

Remarks

The transaction manager or XA application must call xa_end when the thread has either finished its work with the transaction branch or the work has been blocked and the thread has to suspend work on the transaction branch. This function must be called from the same thread that accesses the resource manager.
