ITransactionCloner::CloneWithCommitDisabled

 

Applies To: Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server Technical Preview, Windows Vista

This method disables ITransaction::Commit, leaving ITransaction::Abort and ITransaction::GetTransactionInfo as the only active methods for the transaction object.

Syntax

  
HRESULT CloneWithCommitDisabled(   ITransaction ** ppITransaction);  

Parameters

ppITransaction
[out] Address of pointer variable that receives the cloned interface pointer. Successful return contains the cloned ITransaction interface with ITransaction::Commit disabled.

Return Values

S_OK
Success.

E_INVALIDARG
If the method fails.
