Approving Updates From Your SUS Server

After you have configured both the client and server, you can begin downloading updates from Microsoft Windows Update on your intranet SUS server. After testing and verifying that the updates apply to your devices, you can approve the updates.

To approve updates from your SUS intranet server

1. Review the available updates from your SUS intranet server.
2. Examine each update individually and verify that the update applies to the run-time image on your devices.
3. Using a test run-time image, apply the update to the device and verify that it works.
