Deprecated. Gets the query portion of the current or pending URL.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.GetUrlSearchComponent(pbstrSearch);

Parameters

  • pbstrSearch [out]
    Type: BSTR

    On success, receives a pointer to the query as a string.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

IDocObjectService::GetUrlSearchComponent was introduced in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.
