To connect to another computer you want to manage
Perform the following steps to manage Identity Management for UNIX on a remote computer.
To connect to another computer
Open Identity Management for UNIX.
To open Identity Management for UNIX, click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Identity Management for UNIX. You can also open Identity Management for UNIX from Server Manager by expanding Active Directory Domain Services in the hierarchy pane, and then selecting the Identity Management for UNIX node.
Do one of the following:
Right-click the Microsoft Identity Management for UNIX node in the hierarchy pane, and then click Connect to another computer. On the Select Computer dialog box, select Another Computer.
In the Actions pane, click Connect to another computer, and then select Another Computer.
With the Microsoft Identity Management for UNIX node at the top of the hierarchy pane highlighted, click Connect to another computer on the Action menu. On the Select Computer dialog box, select Another Computer.
In the box, type the name or IP address of the computer to use, or click Browse.
When you have identified or found the computer you want, click OK.
Note
You must be logged on with an account that is a member of the Administrators group on the remote computer.
There is no command-line method for this procedure.
