Interpretazione di un file di log setupAPI di esempio

I log di esempio seguenti illustrano le informazioni contenute in un file di log SetupAPI.

In generale, tutte le parti di un'installazione vengono visualizzate insieme nel file di log. Una sezione di installazione nel log inizia con una voce del formato [anno/mese/giorno process-id.instance description] in cui l'istanza è un numero che garantisce che due sezioni create contemporaneamente per lo stesso processo siano univoche.

File di log setupAPI di Windows XP di esempio

Per Windows XP, ogni voce di log include un identificatore di messaggio costituito da una lettera o un trattino (-) seguito da un numero. Nella tabella seguente viene descritto il formato per gli identificatori di messaggio.
