The error message you are seeing indicates that there is an issue with the validation of the region you have selected. This could be due to a temporary issue with the Azure portal or a problem with your account. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:
- Clear your browser cache and cookies and try again.
- Try using a different browser or device to create the storage account.
Did you try to create a storage account in a different region?
It could a interim issue, try to create the storage account again through different browser.
Can you please try to create the Storage account using PowerShell or CLI and let me know the status: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/common/storage-account-create?tabs=azure-portal
Refer to this section on Validation errors and check if you are seeing any of these.
Additional information: Try to sign up using Chrome and in an incognito window or clear all your browser cache and try using the Edge Browser.
Register 'Microsoft.storage' in the resource providers menu in the Azure subscription. Select the item and click on 'register' on the top of the page.
