WOW! Over 2 million Internet Explorer 9 Beta downloads in 2 days

On September 15, Microsoft made public the beta version of Internet Explorer 9. I must say people showed their love for a more beautiful web with over 2 million copies of Internet Explorer 9 Beta downloaded in 2 days. These are impresive numbers.

According to Microsoft “The initial reaction has been pretty overwhelming, and we are very humbled by the response our customers have had. In first two days, over 2 million people worldwide downloaded IE9 Beta. By comparison, when Internet Explorer 8 Beta launched in August 2008, we had 1.3 million downloads over the first five days.”

Microsoft further mentioned that they had over 9 million visits and 26 million pages views on the Beauty of the Web website since it’s launch last Wednesday. [
