Multiple Subscriptions, Part II

Thanks for the feedback on multiple subscriptions.  We're looking for the edge-case to support in terms of limits on the number of subscriptions per Passport - I think for now we'll be setting it at 100.  As things are now, if you buy several subscriptions and they are registered to the same person, we'll recognize all subscriptions when you register.  If you have multiple subscriptions registered to multiple users - that is, with different subscriber ID numbers - then there will be an "add" option to add additional subscriptions to your Passport.  We'll support 100 subscriber IDs per Passport at launch.

    When is the launch planned?

As with any product, I can never promise a specific go-live date. This project has a number of major external dependencies, any one of which could cause a slip. I can guarantee that it will be before the launch of the VSTS levels, but the actual amount of burn-in time before VSTS launch could change.

Hmmm...Multiple subscriptions. Maybe then I'd be able to give you feedback on your developer centric content. If you compare the Sun Java documentation to what you've got, strengths and weaknesses, your strength is that you've got many more code examples. Sun's strength is that they've got structure, where you don't.

Thanks for the comments - this is definitely helping with our planning. Because our platform pretty much forces the 1 subscription to 1 Passport model, I'd been thinking that support for multiple subscriptions per Passport was something of a fringe case. However, it seems that this is not so and so we're working to beef up the user experience for this somewhat.
