[System.Runtime.InteropServices.DispId(9)]
public EnvDTE.CodeTypeRef CreateArrayType (int Rank = 1);
[<System.Runtime.InteropServices.DispId(9)>]
abstract member CreateArrayType : int -> EnvDTE.CodeTypeRef
Public Function CreateArrayType (Optional Rank As Integer = 1) As CodeTypeRef
Parameters
- Rank
- Int32
Optional. Default value = 1. The number of dimensions in the type array.
Returns
A CodeTypeRef object.
- Attributes
Remarks
The returned CodeTypeRef object has a TypeKind property of vsCMTypeRefArray, and an ElementType that is a copy of the CodeTypeRef object upon which CreateArrayType
was invoked. The Parent property will be Nothing
because no CodeElement has a Type
property that refers to the newly-created CodeTypeRef object.
Note
The values of code model elements such as classes, structs, functions, attributes, delegates, and so forth can be non-deterministic after making certain kinds of edits, meaning that their values cannot be relied upon to always remain the same. For more information, see the section Code Model Element Values Can Change in Discovering Code by Using the Code Model (Visual Basic).
