Business statistics (form)

Click Sales and marketing > Inquiries > History > Business statistics.

Use this form to set up business statistics inquiries that can help you analyze the performance of the organization. For example, you can set up a business statistic to include sales for all customers for the year. You can then update the statistics and view the data as a graph or in a format that can be copied to a spreadsheet for additional analysis.
You can create business statistics for the following sales or purchase relations:
Sales per customer
Sales per customer group
Sales for all customers (sales orders)
Purchases per vendor
Purchases per vendor group
Purchases for all vendors (purchase orders)
You can combine each sales or purchase relation with one of the following options:
Per item
Per group of items
For all items
Note
For each business statistic, you can specify how often the statistics should be updated and what optional information on the Setup tab to include.

Fields

Name |
Enter a name that describes the type and level of the business statistic. |
Item |
Select an item relation from the list.

Account selection |
Select a sales or purchase relation from the list.

Auto |
Select this check box to include the business statistic in the update when you select Selected in the All/Selected field in the form that opens when you click Update. If this check box is not selected, the business statistic is included in the update only when you select All. |
Quantity |
Select this check box to include the total quantity sold or total quantity purchased in the statistics. Note Typically, you would total amounts when totaling statistics per item number. |
Amount |
Select this check box to include the total revenue amount or purchase amount in the statistics. |
Line discount |
Select this check box to include the total amount of the line discounts in the statistics. |
Cost value |
Select this check box to include the total cost values in the statistics. |
Period |
Enter a date interval code, also known as a period. When you update the business statistics, a total for each date interval that is specified for the date interval code is calculated. For more information, see Date intervals (form). |
