Use this form to create one or more sites.
Navigating the form
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.
The tabs and controls that were added to this form for the Warehouse management features in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 are not described in this topic. For information about these features, see Warehouse management.

General |
View and enter general information about the selected site. |
Address |
View or edit the default delivery address that is entered for the site. |
Financial dimensions |
View information about financial dimensions, such as the default dimensions and where the dimensions are used in account structures and advanced rule structures. |
Hierarchy |
View the resources that are associated with the site. These resources can include warehouses and production units. The hierarchy is presented in an expandable/collapsible tree structure. |

Expand |
Expand the tree structure to show all of the warehouses that are set up for all of the sites. Once you expand the tree structure, you can collapse it by clicking the Collapse button. |
Advanced |
Open the Manage addresses form to enter or edit the address for the site. |

Site |
Enter a unique identification for the site. |
Name |
Enter or edit a descriptive name for the site. |
Default financial dimensions |
The default financial dimensions for the main account. When you select a financial dimension value, the Where the %1 dimension is used field group displays where the dimension is used in account structures and advanced rule structures. Note You can specify the financial dimension that is linked to the site in the Dimension link form. Once the financial dimension link is locked, you cannot edit the value. |

The account structures and advanced rule structures that use the financial dimensions that you selected in the Financial dimensions or Default financial dimensions field group. Note The name of the field depends on the selection in the Financial dimensions or Default financial dimensions field group. |
Site |
View the identification of the site. |
Name |
View or edit the descriptive name of the site. |
Order entry deadline group |
Select the order entry deadline group that applies to the selected site. The order entry deadline group specifies the order entry deadline for a specific group of customers. |
Time zone |
Select the time zone that applies to the selected site. The time zone information is used to calculate and display order entry deadlines for sales orders, sales quotations, and transfer orders in the time zone of the shipping location. |
Address |
View the default delivery address that is entered for the site. The address is displayed according to the address format setup that is specified in the Address setup form. |
Purpose |
View the purpose of the selected address. For example, the address may be used for deliveries only, or for deliveries and services. |
Primary |
View whether the address is primary. A primary address is the principal postal address for the selected party. A primary address can also be the default address for the party. |
