2.2.3.146 RecipientCount
The RecipientCount element is an optional child element of the Response element and the Certificates element in ResolveRecipients command responses (section 2.2.1.15).

As a child element of the Response element, the RecipientCount element specifies the number of recipients that are returned in the ResolveRecipients command response.
As a child element of the Certificates element, the RecipientCount element specifies the number of members belonging to a distribution list. It can be used to determine whether all recipients belonging to a distribution list have valid certificates by comparing values of the CertificateCount (section 2.2.3.21) and RecipientCount elements.

The client indicates the protocol version being used by setting either the MS-ASProtocolVersion header, as specified in [MS-ASHTTP] section 2.2.1.1.2.6, or the Protocol version field, as specified in [MS-ASHTTP] section 2.2.1.1.1.1, in the request.
