FA Posting Date Field, Gen. Journal Line Table
Specifies the date that will be used as the FA posting date on FA ledger entries.
You use this field if you have selected Fixed Asset in the Account Type field and the date used for fixed asset calculations must be different from the regular posting date. If you do not enter anything in this field, the date in the Posting Date field will be used as the FA posting date.
Note that if you have clicked the Use Same FA+G/L Posting Dates field in the Depreciation Book table, you must enter the same dates in the FA Posting Date and Posting Date fields.
