SPElementDefinition.GetRootAttrVal method

Returns the value of an attribute that is specified within the root element of the definition.

Parameters

  • attrName
    Type: System.String

    A string that specifies the name of the attribute.

Return value

Type: System.String
A string that contains the value of the attribute that is specified within the root element, or a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if the attribute not exist.

Remarks

The GetRootAttrVal method provides a basic utility function for optionally specified attributes in an element definition.
