説明

パッケージ XML に格納されている、CurrentVersion プロパティで指定されたコンポーネントのバージョンが、ローカル コンピュータのコンポーネントの CurrentVersion プロパティより低い場合、PerformUpgrade が呼び出されます。このメソッドにより、コンポーネントは、現在のバージョンと一致するよう、パッケージ XML の IDTSComponentMetaData100 をアップグレードすることができます。コンポーネントが PerformUpgrade の基本クラス実装をオーバーライドしなかったり、このメソッドのコンポーネントの実装中に例外が発生すると、ComponentUpgradeFailedException がスローされます。

スレッド セーフ

この型の public static (Visual Basic では Shared) のメンバーはすべて、スレッド セーフです。インスタンス メンバーの場合は、スレッド セーフであるとは限りません。
