TaskLoggingHelper.LogWarning Method (String, String, String, String, Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, String, array<Object )

Logs a warning using the specified message and other warning details.

Parameters

• subcategory
  Type: System.String

  The description of the warning type.

• warningCode
  Type: System.String

  The warning code.

• helpKeyword
  Type: System.String

  The Help keyword to associate with the warning.

• file
  Type: System.String

  The path to the file containing the warning.

• lineNumber
  Type: System.Int32

  The line in the file where the warning occurs.

• columnNumber
  Type: System.Int32

  The column in the file where the warning occurs.

• endLineNumber
  Type: System.Int32

  The end line in the file where the warning occurs.

• endColumnNumber
  Type: System.Int32

  The end column in the file where the warning occurs.

• message
  Type: System.String

  The message.

• messageArgs
  Type: array<System.Object[]

  Optional arguments for formatting the message string.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentNullException	message is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

The parameters subCategory, warningCode, helpKeyword, and file can be nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The parameters lineNumber, columnNumber, endLineNumber, and endColumnNumber should be set to 0 if they are not available.
