SearchBox.queryText property

[SearchBox is no longer available for use as of Windows 10. Instead, use AutoSuggestBox. ]

Gets or sets the query text for the SearchBox.

Syntax

var queryText = searchBox.queryText;
searchBox.queryText = queryText;

Property value

Type: String

The query text for the SearchBox. The maximum length is 2048 characters.
