IFPCArray4::IsExternalComponentInstalled method

The IsExternalComponentInstalled method determines whether the specified external component is installed on all Forefront TMG computers in the array.

Syntax

Parameters

ExternalComponentGuid [in]

C++
A BSTR that contains the GUID of the external component.

VB
A String that contains the GUID of the external component.
pbRetVal [out]
Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if the specified external component is installed on all Forefront TMG computers in the array, or to VARIANT_FALSE if the external component is not installed on all Forefront TMG computers in the array.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

Boolean value that is set to True if the specified external component is installed on all Forefront TMG computers in the array, or to False if the external component is not installed on all Forefront TMG computers in the array.

If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

This method uses the ExternalComponents property of the FPCServer to retrieve information about external components.
