Font Style, Size, and Color (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

You can change font style, size, and color settings for any window with the Format command. Using different fonts gives windows distinct visual clues about their function — the default font for source windows, a different font for the Watch window, and so on.

In addition to setting font coloring, you must enable syntax coloring in order to view colored text elements.

The behavior of the Automatic setting depends on the type of element selected in the Colors list. For an element that maps to a standard system element, such as Text Selection, the Automatic setting sets the element to the appropriate system color.

For an element that does not map to a standard system element, the Automatic setting specifies the use of the color from the corresponding element in the Source Windows category.

The color elements of a window type selected from the Category list can be only one font and size. Multiple fonts cannot be displayed in different color elements.

The font and size settings apply to everything within the selected window category, while the foreground and background color settings apply only to the selected color element of that category.

You can reset the formatting options for a selected category to the default settings by choosing ResetAll.
