Stage 2: Specifying Setup Parameters
In this stage of running the Internet Explorer 7 Customization Wizard, you can download the most up-to-date version of Internet Explorer 7, identify other components to include in the package, and specify installation defaults.
This stage contains the following pages:
Automatic Version Synchronization. Specify the location for Internet Explorer and download it. In Internet Explorer 7 and in Internet Explorer Administration Kit 7 (IEAK 7), the browser is a single component instead of a collection of several components, so the download process is simplified.
Add Custom Components. Specify the details for components, including custom components or Microsoft components, that you want to include in the custom package in addition to Internet Explorer.
Corporate Install Options. For the Corporate version only: Specify settings for the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, the default browser, uninstallation, and Internet Explorer updates.
Note
To properly run IEAK 7, you must have Internet Explorer 7 installed.
