Sign-up Method
On this page of the Internet Explorer 7 Customization Wizard, if you are an Internet service provider, you can specify how you customers will sign-up with your service and connect to the Internet. For more information about sign-up options, see Prepare for Internet Sign-up.
Important
The Internet sign-up option is not available for the Windows Vista operating system.

Specify this method to create server solutions that exchange information with the screens of the Internet Connection Wizard. For more information about this sign-up option, see Internet Sign-up Using the Internet Connection Wizard. Important This method is not applicable to the Windows Vista operating system. |
Server-based sign-up using full-screen kiosk mode |
Specify this method to create server solutions that exchange information with the browser in kiosk (full-screen) mode, without toolbar buttons showing. For more information about this sign-up option, see Internet Sign-up Using Kiosk Mode. |
Serverless sign-up |
Specify this method if you do not want to use a sign-up server. Instead, the Internet Explorer 7 Customization Wizard prompts you to provide the necessary information to control the sign-up process. You can also test your sign-up page from this wizard. You cannot use the serverless (client-based) sign-up method to customize the Internet Connection Wizard. No sign-up |
Specify this method if you do not want your users to go through a sign-up procedure when they install their custom browser. |
