XmlAnyElementAttribute Class

Specifies that the member (a field that returns an array of XElement or XNode objects) contains objects that represent an XML element that has no corresponding member in the object being serialized or deserialized.

Remarks

Use the XmlAnyElementAttribute to contain arbitrary data (as XML elements) that can be sent as part of an XML document, such as metadata sent as part of the document.

 The constructor for the XmlSerializer object throws an InvalidOperationException if the XmlSerializer object is initialized with a type parameter that contains two XElement members and both are marked with the XmlAnyElementAttribute.
