Gets the number of channels that are provided by the audio format.

Property Value

Type: System.Int32
The number of channels that are provided by the audio format.

Remarks

This value is usually interpreted to mean that a value of 1 reports a monophonic input device, and a value of 2 reports a stereo input device.

You might use Channels information in your logic to convert byte streams into audio frames as part of an implementation for OnSamples.
