Provides handling for the MouseEnter event.
Namespace: System.Windows.Controls
Assembly: System.Windows (in System.Windows.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Protected Overrides Sub OnMouseEnter ( _
e As MouseEventArgs _
)
protected override void OnMouseEnter(
MouseEventArgs e
)
Parameters
- e
Type: System.Windows.Input.MouseEventArgs
The event data.
Remarks
This implementation updates the appearance of the ListBoxItem when the mouse pointer enters the control.
The OnMouseEnter method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnMouseEnter in a derived class, make sure to call the base class’s OnMouseEnter method so that registered delegates receive the event.
