Windows Update Error - 0x800f0986

Windows update is not working and shows this message.

2019-12 x64 , Windows 10 Version 1909 update (KB4530684) - error 0x800f0986

I tried format and reinstall but still the same. what's need to be done?

    If a reinstallation of Windows hasn't helped, there might be compatiblity problems with the update.

    I would wait until the next set of updates which arrive on 15th January and check. You may try reset of Windows update and see if that helps.
