I'm Kevin B. Independent advisor and a Windows user like you. I do apologize for the inconvenience about your activation and keyboard issue, let me help you sort things out.
Kindly check if you can use your on screen keyboard for you to manually input those characters to input the product key.
To do that access Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard, and turn on the toggle under Use the On-Screen Keyboard.
Afterwards, kindly update the keyboard driver on your system.
To do that press Windows key and type device manager:
Look for keyboards on the list.
Expand the keyboard option.
Right click on it and click update.
Select the search automatically option.
It will search and find the Keyboard Driver automatically and restart your computer to apply the changes.
If the above steps do not work, you can go to the official site and download the respective drivers and install them.
