Good day! I am Independent Advisor Paul R. and also a Microsoft/Windows user like you and I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. I understand that you are checking the way of recognition of your PC with regards to the controller that you are using.
Have you checked if the controller is having the same behavior on a different computer?
Have you already updated the drivers for it?
You can also try the following:
Run Device Troubleshooter
- Go to Start > Control Panel > search "troubleshooter" and then click "Troubleshooting" > Hardware and Sound > Configure a Device.
- Follow on-screen instruction, and click on Apply this fix if any problem is found.
Disable USB selective suspend setting
- Click Start button, type power plan in the Search box, and then select Choose a power plan.
- Next to your currently selected plan, select Change Plan Settings.
- Select Change advanced power settings.
- Select the box to expand USB Settings > USB selective suspend settings.
- Select Plugged in, select the drop-down menu, and then select disabled.
- If you're using a laptop, select Battery, select the drop-down menu, and then select disabled.
- Select Apply > OK.
Regards,
Paul R.
