Hello kim,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.
There have been similar reports regarding incoming emails from Microsoft sent in a different language. This problem is often caused by incorrect Country/Region and Time Zone settings on your account.
- Sign in to your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/
- Click the Your info tab.
- Select the Edit your personal info link.
- Select the desired Country/region and Time zone.
If this information is correct and you are still receiving emails in a different language, check your Outlook e-mail settings.
- Go to https://outlook.live.com/ and sign in with your account.
- Go to Settings > General.
- Click Language and Time.
- Ensure the Language, Time Zone and time formats are set according to your needs.
If the previous two solutions did not resolve the issue, the language setting may be broken on the back end of the email profile. So,
I have reviewed several discussion threads on the forum and found one that was helpful to many users with the same issue. Please review the suggestion posted by "Raeth" in the following link and see if it helps.
