Based on your description, kindly try to perform the following workarounds in case this would work:
- Sign out and re-sign in to your account.
- Use different devices and network services.
- Changing browsers. (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari etc.)
Then, check if you can manually cancel the subscription again on account.microsoft.com > Subscriptions.
