Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.
May I please know if your touch input works in BIOS?
- Turn off your Samsung device. Turn it on and repeatedly press F2 to boot into BIOS.
- Use your finger to touch the screen. See if it works.
- If it does, restart your computer and test if the fingerprint touch input works in the Windows environment as well.
If you are still experiencing issues, ensure that your BIOS and Windows are up to date.
To check your current BIOS version, type 'msinfo' in the search bar on the taskbar.
Note down the BIOS version/Date on the screen.
Then, go to your PC manufacturer's website, download and install the latest version.
Additionally, go to Start > Settings > Windows Update> Check for updates.
Download and install all the pending updates available for your device.
Let me know if you still need more help.
