However, based on your situation, here are the most important points to consider:
Free Personal OneDrive Accounts Once files are permanently deleted (including from the Recycle Bin), recovery is generally not possible unless action is taken immediately. Microsoft does not retain backups or shadow copies for free accounts beyond this point.
Upgrading to Microsoft 365 While upgrading to a paid Microsoft 365 subscription gives you access to features like File Restore, this feature only applies to files deleted after the subscription begins. Unfortunately, it does not retroactively apply to files deleted prior to the upgrade.

- Your account email
- Approximate deletion time (September 18, 2025, between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM KST)
- File types and folder names (e.g., Project_Video_001, Picture Materials)
- Clarify that you are willing to upgrade to Microsoft 365 if it enables recovery
You may also request a formal explanation from Microsoft if recovery is not possible, including confirmation of their retention policies and backend limitations.
