Cannot access my subscription, cannot delete VM, and cannot create a support request
Hello, I am experiencing an issue where I cannot access my Azure subscription at all. The subscription seems to be locked or disabled, and I am unable to perform any actions.
Here are the symptoms:
- I cannot access the subscription (shows no permissions or restricted state).
I cannot delete my virtual machine (deletion fails or resources do not appear properly).
I cannot create any support request inside the Azure portal.
The support request page gives an error saying I have no permission or no subscription.
Because I have no access to Azure Support from the portal, I cannot contact Azure Billing Support directly.
This issue occurred after unexpected charges of around AUD 450 were generated while I was working on a university assignment. My student verification failed for reasons outside my control, so I used the basic subscription tier, which led to this situation.
I need help with:
Unlocking or restoring access to my subscription
Deleting the stuck VM / resources
Reviewing the unexpected billing charge
Since I cannot open a support ticket, is there any way the Azure team can manually escalate this or restore access to my subscription?
