If you're looking for a function that allows you to insert equation formulas, yes, it exists. You can find it under Insert > Equation, and from there you'll find many useful tools.

If you want to view Excel formulas, you have two options:

• Place an apostrophe (') before the formula
• In another field, type =FORMULATEXT(A1)
