Please ensure that the Windows Security Service and Microsoft Defender Antivirus services are running. To verify that, open PowerShell and run these commands:

Start-Service -Name mpssvc, SecurityHealthService, wscsvc, mpssvc -Verbose

gsv mpssvc, SecurityHealthService, WinDefend, wscsvc, mpssvc | select Name, StartType, Status | ft -auto

Copy the output and post it here.

(If some of the services fail to start, we need to fix the service registration.)
