몇시간 전에 영문 키보드 레이이웃 사용에 대해 질문 드렸는데 대부분의 운영체제라고 하신건 전세계에서 사용되는 운영체제를 말한건가요? 또한 라틴문자와 영어 키보드 레이아웃을 구별해서 말하신게 궁금합니다 영어 자체가 라틴문자 사용 언어 아닌가요? 번역하지말고 영문 그대로 답변 부탁드립니다

On "most operating systems" — they most likely meant it broadly, across the OSes used worldwide rather than any one region. The English (US) layout is available as a default or built-in option on just about every platform, which is why it tends to get described as a safe common denominator.

On Latin script vs the English layout — you're right that English is written in the Latin alphabet, so the confusion is understandable. The thing is, "Latin script" and "English keyboard layout" aren't quite the same level of thing. Latin script is the writing system shared by many languages — French, German, Spanish, Vietnamese and so on — and those languages use different physical layouts (QWERTZ, AZERTY, plus various dead keys for accents). The "English (US)" layout is just one specific arrangement within that larger family. So when they separated the two, the point was probably that a keyboard can be Latin-script without being the English layout.
