Looking in vain for our Active Directory content? Try our new vanity URLs off Microsoft.com for "quick access" to AD TechCenter home pages
"All my love's in vain." - "Love in Vain", Robert Johnson (1911-1938)
Hey folks,
We know if you read this blog you love to find answers to all your Active Directory questions in our documentation on Microsoft.com. But before you can do that, you have to be able find it. As many of you know, that can be harder than it sounds. Some of you have, as Robert Johnson sang, searched "in vain"
Well, we have been able to do a little bit more here this month to try and help solve that problem. For each of the five Active Directory server roles that we ship within the Windows Server platfform, we now have the following shortcut or vanity URLs to help quickly take you to the TechCenter home or landing pages for each of them.
We hope this will make it easier to get closer to clearing a path to that elusive "single front door" into our libraries of Active Directory content.
Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS)
Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)

- https://www.microsoft.com/DirectoryServices
Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS)
Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS)
Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS)
And if you can't find a convenient link to what you need off those pages, please let us know. We will work on getting them updated so you can have the best possible starting point to navigating towards the resources you want to find in our various Web sites.
Thanks!
