    I currently am the product owner, consultant, developer and support person for my company's .NET environment.  Our IT environment consists of many different platforms (Windows, Unix AIX, Unix Solaris, Unix Linux and zOS mainframe).  .NET direction at one time was to have a framework that would be available basically on all platforms.  Not much said about that direction anymore.  Has the strategy for .NET changed?  Is there currently efforts underway to support zOS, AIX and/or Solaris?
