WPF 4 Unleashed!

I've been seriously neglecting my blog, but I just wanted to point out that WPF 4 Unleashed is now available!

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0672331195?ie=UTF8&tag=adamnathannet-20

Maybe someday soon I'll explain the differences between the two books it in more depth. :)

Any hope of a DRM free electronic version? Kindle ebooks pain me.

Dear Mr. Nathan, I am reading your book WPF 4 Unleshed. After some long hours of trying it, I can not run the Charter13 sample code. I just double click the DataBoundPhotoGallery solution and once loaded the application inmediately appears three errors in the MainWindow.xaml startup.

  1. Undefined CLR namespace. The 'clr-namespace' URI refers to a namespace 'PhotoGallery' that is not included in the assembly.
  2. The type 'local:CountToBackgroundConverter' was not found. Verify that you are not missing an assembly reference and that all referenced assemblies have been built.
  3. The type 'local:RawCountToDescriptionConverter' was not found. Verify that you are not missing an assembly reference and that all referenced assemblies have been built. I am running the application on Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate, Windows 7. Any light over these errors I will be appreciated. Thank you. Gilbert Blanco. Bolivia.

Like most software guys I buy a lot of books.   I bought your silverlight 1 and thought it the best at the time.   I am interested in getting other of your books, such as WPF 4 unleashed.  But your sams publishing has been bought by Pearson.  I do not buy Pearson Publshing books.  It is too much work getting the source code.   When you have to go through customer service to get some source code  . . ..
