office 2013 tip: touch mode for windows 8 tablets

The Office Ribbon is a huge improvement, but on a touch screen what if these options are a little too close together?  In Office 2013, there is a touch mode to give you a little extra real estate for you finger.

from the customer quick access toolbar, add touch mode…

now touch mode is a toggle to assist with using the office 2013 ribbon on a touch screen!

Here is a screen shot with touch mode off (top) and turned on (bottom) – I’m really happy after discovering this today!
